Mail Tours
On this trip you go as a traveller only to find you become the main attraction with our local people. Join a full day Mail Tour and visit historical and amazing places. Alois and Valerie share the beauty of the Whanganui River Road with you. You will stop for morning tee (if open) at the Matahiwi Gallery art of Local Maori people, you will visit the Koroniti Marae, Kawana Mill, Jerusalem the Catholic Mission (Sisters of Compassion) and Pipiriki where we have Jet Boat connections to the Bridge to Nowhere or Cycle at your own pace along routes that we have carefully selected and continually improve. Cycle at your own pace along routes that we have carefully selected and continually improve. You will get personal attention from our enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour leaders. We have wonderful country Overstays if you like to stay over and continue the next day. Most of our cycling tours include easy to moderate riding, plus optional routes for the more energetic cyclist. You set your own pace. You can ride with others from the group, pair off, or ride alone, enjoying the quiet countryside. You may choose to bike ahead or to stop along the way to sample local products, photograph a village, or just relax along the river. No awards are given for finishing first! Our goal is to help you enjoy adventure travel and get to know an entirely new area in your own personal, intimate way.
Walking Tracks
Tramping/Walking tracks A journey to secret locations where rare wildlife play and exquisite scenery takes over. Your small group can enjoy the serenity of beautiful mountain ranges, crystal clear pools and calm fiord’s while hiking…. We offer transport to the Matemateonga track which can be done in 3 days with overstay huts. The Atene Skyline Walkway is 8 hours walking. Trips to Waitonga and Ohakune has 1 day to 5 and more days walking tracks. Weekend and day trips requires a minimum of 3
