Once a month to pick up rubbish along the Whanganui River Road

We commit to purchasing 5 Tree’s from Tree’s that count on a quartley basis.

Energy Conservation

Staff to turn off lights and appliances when they are not in use. Energy efficient lighting to be installed.

Waste Management

Recycling facilities to be provided. Educate staff and visitors correctly on the use recycling facilities, staff and visitors are encouraged to recycle. Compostable waste removed off site to be composted, waste is to be collected in biodegradable rubbish bags.

Vehicle Fleet

Staff to schedule routes minimising wastage, fuel consumption to reduce carbon footprint. All vehicles are to be serviced and maintained to ensure their efficiency • Vehicles to be washed using a car wash with recyclable water and carbon emissions of the fleet will be monitored

Whanganui Tours Cares about the future of our earth and lowering our carbon footprint. As Kaitiaki we source the locally grown or produced food for you to enjoy, and we recycle everything we can after your visit with us.
