An ideal way to experience and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the lower reaches of the Whanganui River, Join Tracy on the Mail Run visiting key historic and spiritual sites combined with the thrill of a 1.5hr Jetboat ride after a morning tea, travelling 26km downstream, passing historical Moutoa Island, the scene of a famous battle in 1864. Absorbing the Wairua of the Whanganui River and the gorgeous Atene bush.
Ending with Whanganui Tours collecting you from the Whanganui Scenic Jet, and returning you back to accommodation in Whanganui.
This is a great tour for those who don't want a lot of walking but are looking forward to experiencing the magic of Whanganui River, its people, places and stories.
